Daniel was born and raised in New York. Since he was a little bambino, he spent a lot of time in the kitchen and in the garden with his Nonna and “helping” his Grandfather in his various diner and bakery businesses.

Jeannie was raised in NY, from a multilingual family including Argentinian roots, speaking English, Spanish and some Italian. Raised in an area of Long Island saturated by Italian American culture and friends, Jeannie felt most comfortable in the restaurant environment, particularly of the Italian variety. Over 20 years’ experience in the restaurant industry from small family owned to corporate eateries working with top celebrity chefs, in every position front of the house and back of the house, coast to coast, Jeannie has been carefully taking note of these businesses best practices.

After establishing roots in Tombstone and falling in love with all the southwest has to offer they couldn’t find the Italian pastries and breads that reminded them of the warm memories of the old neighborhood. Daniel decided to reproduce some old family recipes and share them with friends and family, who quickly become loyal customers. It was around this time they had received devastating news that their beloved brother/in law had passed suddenly, Mario.

Mario’s Home style online Italian Bakery was born and has grown to become a brick and mortar, Mario’s Bakery Cafe.
